finding the good in something bad

Welcome back to another blog post guys, im so glad you have decided to swing by and I thought whilst you are here I may aswell tell you about my new venture which I have been considering for a while.

Iv decided after a year of unpredictability, uncertainty and generally feeling a little lost when it comes to my career that I would embark on a new change. I am always looking to learn something new and I must admit I struggle to stick to any hobbies but, at this moment in time I am looking to the future and self development is the way forward.

Did you know you spend an average of 10,625 days looking at some sort of technological device? When you compare this to the average amount of days you are alive for (25,915) that is almost half!. Imagine, just really think about how much the world really can open up to you if you decide to use this time to focus on learning something new.

Of course if you know me you will know how much I adore my job as a nurse, BUT after a chaotic year I have decided I need to learn something new and have something else to channel my energy into that will not only help people but also broaden my horizon and help me with my journey of positivity. Im by no means going to quit the day job but I thought working with people is my strong point so why not harness it!

I have decided to train as a life coach and I am so excited to get started. This year really has given me clarity, focus and determination to ensure I really am living my best possible life whilst also helping others live theirs. Hopefully 2021 I will be feeling confident and focused enough to share my coaching with the world. But for now, the hard work is about to begin.

P.S If there are any coaches out there or any like minded people willing to give a newbie some advice holla at me!

  1. O wow I think that’s an amazing idea as you really are a people person an always positive-wish all mums at the classroom door were like that😜. I think after these horrible last few months we all need something new to focus on the hard part is finding the what! Good luck with everything Lindsay I always thought after seeing your wedding pics you should go into wedding planning, see you at the classroom door

  2. The field is wide open so explore as much as possible, try new things, and define your brand. From what I’ve seen, the more unconventional strategy, the more successful the startup. The prevailing wisdom is “do one thing well”. However, I think the hardest part is marketing. So, have a strategy well in advance of when you’re ready to start promoting your work and you should be fine. Best of luck.
