Parenting probs…

Hey everyone how’s your week been? Iv actually had quite a terrible one. Monday I had a full on breakdown in work and Wednesday I got so drunk that I was throwing up all night. Woops.

Fast forward to Friday though, I went into uni and delivered my presentation to my group. That was the last piece of work for me to ever hand in! EVER!….. YES!!!!!

Now it’s Sunday, iv spent the morning morning ironing, cooking and preparing for the week ahead. Washing clothes, going food shopping and iv finally sat down.

My lounge looks a mess, everytime rose gets one toy out she gets bored and picks something else and im chasing my tail Trying to keep up with her.

Does anyone else feel like this is just the way life is when you become a parent? Full of micromanagement, spending every spare minute tidying or organising?

I’m literally chasing my tail permanently and it’s exhausting!

Surely I’m not the only mum to feel like a slave in their own home!

  1. Can only say you are definitely not alone! I cant remember the last time I wasn’t tidying or thinking about tidying, or asking for help with tidying, or wishing I didn’t have to tidy! Looks like we just have to learn to accept the tidying or accept the mess!

  2. That is parenthood! I am sure you are a great parent. I have two older children so they help me a lot. I had to learn the hard way to start making them clean their own messes because I was literally running around like a maniac.

    1. Thank you, I find it hard delegating because it falls on deaf ears most of the time and its quicker to do it myself lol. Im making a rod for my own back i know lol

      1. Trust my back has plenty of scars from my own rod. Im still in the learning process. I find myself having them start then me stepping in. Lol I call it the mom OCD.
