Kitchen/Dining Room Tour

Hey folks! How are you all today? Iv been busy this morning practising my presentation, speaking to a bunch of roses dolls because that’s just how i roll. I got bored after about an hour and decided to give my kitchen a good old clean so i thought why not share the heart of my home with you all!

My favourite appliance in the whole house….my 8 burner 🙂 (Looks like I forgot to clean poor flounder the fish)

When we had this kitchen built, there was a lot of unused space so we literally ripped out the old kitchen and redesigned the whole thing, we love having a lot of storage!

Before the revamp which may I add was about 4 years ago so we are definitely due another! This whole space were the fridge freezer is was just worktop space and cupboards with built in appliances. Don’t get me wrong I loved having the worktop space for parties ect but day to day life it really was just getting neglected and used to store crap.

We decided to build a housing unit and get our American style fridge freezer put underneath. I liked the old built in appliances simply because it looked neater and more concealed but to be honest its just a bugger when they break. Plus we did need the extra freezer space as we like our food and because I meal prep a lot I needed lots of shelves for containers!

Next to the living room is probably my favourite room in the house, its were all the chats take place, the meals happen, the laughs, the cries and the secrets. Its also great to have an open plan kitchen/diner as when I’m cooking up a storm in the kitchen I can still chat to the fambo.

I’m sure you’ve already guessed the theme in this room is mostly grey, well in fact a lot of our house is painted with this fab colour, I absolutely love it. My favourite thing about grey is I get to add a splash of colour and really change up the feel of the room.

I also really LOVE candles and faux flowers they really brighten any room up and look so aesthetically pleasing.

So there it is, a little tour for all my angels! Its currently where I’m sitting right now writing this post. Even though I have a perfectly good office upstairs I always find myself sat at the dining table. Maybe its because I know coffee is only a flick of the kettle away!

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you did!

Much love XoXo
